Erik Fetter: “After the Tour of Hongrie I set myself a new goal: the time trial at these nationals. I received a lot of support from the team for this goal, especially from coach Carlos Barredo. Carlos planned the best possible preparation for this event. Sean Yates also trusted me and gave me the best ideas. I am very grateful to them. My family also helped me a lot in the last few weeks so that I could get to the time trial in the best possible shape. I am really very happy. After all these weeks of hard work, everything went very well and I was able to win the title”.
