After two seasons in the Tirol Cycling Team, the young Trentino rider is facing a jump in category that he is facing with the highest hopes. Habitual of the concentrations with the national teams, Rivi is another young value of the Italian cycling, endowed with a great tip of speed, very good roller, but also with worries to improve in environments orographically much more demanding, that really are not their specialty. Rivi is a great lover of the mountains in the widest sense of the word, and is one of the reasons why he loves living in Trentino-Adige. He enjoys it on his bike, but also walking, cross-country or alpine skiing or even climbing. Some pictures of her on the Via Ferrata delle Aquile, not far from the town of Andalo, were breathtaking. Rivi’s origins, however, are attached to football, a sport he played in his childhood. At the age of twelve, already with the Velo Sport Mezzocorona, he began his journey on two wheels. The son of a railway employee and a teacher, he has an older brother and has studied Administration, Finance and Marketing. Although he dreams of competing and winning in the big races of the calendar, because of its proximity and closeness the Tour of the Alps is a very special date for him and he remembered this in an interview with Joseph Doherty’s U23CyclingZone website: “I really like this race because it is close to my home. When I was younger at school we used to stop to watch it go by. It has always been a dream to be able to participate in this race, something I was able to achieve thanks to the Tirol-KTM”. Among his favourite riders, Bradley Wiggins. And among other hobbies, this more sporadic one, the video game console.
