Cofidis patrocina el I Campus de Selección para el equipo junior 2014 de la Fundación Alberto Contador
Los próximos días 20, 21 y 22 de septiembre, gracias al patrocinio de Cofidis España, se celebrará en Pinto el Campus de Selección de los corredores que integrarán el equipo junior de la Fundación Alberto Contador en la temporada 2014.
El equipo Specialized-Fundación Alberto Contador, que ha contado en 2013 con 14 corredores, está previsto que el año próximo cuente con un número similar de ciclistas, entre los juniors de primer año que continúen en 2014 y las nuevas incorporaciones, que saldrán de los participantes en esta convocatoria.
Los jóvenes interesados en formar parte de la segunda temporada del equipo junior de la Fundación Alberto Contador deberán realizar una preinscripción en la página web del equipo (http://junior.fundacioncontadorteam.com/) antes del próximo 31 de agosto, donde una semana más tarde se publicará la lista de los seleccionados para asistir al Campus.
El requisito primordial para los candidatos es que deben ser ciclistas que cumplan 17 o 18 años a lo largo de la próxima temporada, ya que el equipo, aunque mayoritariamente español, estará abierto a corredores de cualquier nacionalidad.
Gracias al apoyo de Cofidis, una firma especialmente comprometida con la promoción del ciclismo de base en España, en estas jornadas no sólo se realizará una selección de los mejores deportistas a través de su currículum deportivo y de las pruebas que se realicen, sino que serán, sobre todo, unos días de convivencia en los que se dará una importancia primordial a la personalidad y las cualidades humanas de los candidatos a formar parte del equipo junior de la Fundación Alberto Contador.
El programa de estas jornadas, que tendrán su sede en el Hotel Princesa de Éboli de Pinto, comenzará el viernes día 20 por la tarde, con la recepción de los participantes, que asistirán a una cena de bienvenida en el hotel. El sábado 21 será la jornada central, en la que se desarrollarán las distintas pruebas y entrevistas diseñadas por el staff técnico del equipo de la Fundación Alberto Contador, y el domingo 22 se realizará una salida en bicicleta antes de la comida de clausura del campus, tras el anuncio de la fecha en la que se hará pública la lista de corredores que integrarán el equipo en la temporada 2014.

Cofidis sponsors the Selection Camp for the Alberto Contador Foundation’s 2014 junior team
The next September 20, 21 and 22, thanks to sponsorship by Cofidis Spain, will be held in Pinto the Selection Camp for riders to the Alberto Contador Foundation’s junior team in the 2014 season.
Team Specialized-Alberto Contador Foundation, who has had in 2013 14 riders, is expected next year to have an equal number of cyclists, including first-year juniors to continue in 2014 and the new additions, which will be choosen among the participants in this camp.
Young people interested in joining the second season of Alberto Contador Foundation’s junior team must pre-register on the website (http://junior.fundacioncontadorteam.com/) before next August 31, where a week later will be published the list of those selected to attend the Camp.
The prerequisite for the candidates is to be cyclists who turn 17 or 18 over the next season, as the team, but mostly Spanish, will be open to riders of any nationality.
With the support of Cofidis, a firm particularly committed to promoting cycling in Spain, in these days not only will be a selection of the best athletes through their sports curriculum and tests made, but will be especially a few days to live together in which will be of prime importance the personality and human qualities of the candidates to join the Alberto Contador Foundation’s junior team.
The program of this campus, which will be based in the Hotel Princesa de Eboli in Pinto, will begin on Friday, 20 pm, with the reception of the participants, who will attend a welcome dinner at the hotel. Saturday 21 will be the central day, in which will develop the various tests and interviews designed by the technical staff of the Alberto Contador Foundation‘s team, and in Sunday 22 there will be a bike training before closing the campus during a last lunch, after the announcement of the date on which it shall publish the list of riders that will make up the team in the 2014 season.
