Luca Spada (President and CEO of EOLO), Rinaldo Ballerio (CEO of Elmec), Federico Protto (CEO of Retelit), architect Franco Segre and Ivan Basso set off from Besozzo to climb the Cuvignone.

Accompanying them on their departure from Casa Eolo were Col. Gianluca Piasentin (Provincial Commander of the Varese Carabinieri) and Lt. Col. Federico Ninni (Commander of the Reparto Operativo).
