Beauty and fatigue, what a beautiful contradiction

Naples is like that, and you wouldn’t change it even if you wanted to. Beautiful in its own way, fascinating in hiding its best treasures, capable of offering itself in all its splendor on a day like today. But unable, at the same time, to give anything away: Naples makes itself courted, makes itself desired, makes itself chased.

Yeah, chase: today EOLO-KOMETA tried to chase, getting into the right breakaway with Maestri and Rivi and following the day’s plans. Unfortunately, the two men in blue were unable to hang on with the best, despite their generosity and despite their desire to be there. Beautiful stage, exhausting stage: and that is why, because of this wonderful contradiction, cycling is the most beautiful sport there is.
