“The beautiful thing, in cycling, is this: tomorrow there is always another stage, there is always another race.” In this sentence of our GM Fran Contador there is the thought of the evening, there is the thought that will occupy the night and the morning hours, before the stage that will reach the top of the Marmolada and decide who will win this Giro d’Italia.
After a stage like today’s, with Bowman reaffirming that he deserves the maglia azzurra paraded to our Diego Rosa with victory after an all-day breakaway. For us, generous proof of Fortunato who stayed with the pink jersey group losing contact only in the last kilometers when the big guys opened the throttle.
