Great news comes from Hungary: our Erik Fetter has confirmed himself as the national time trial champion! Erik, who on the eve of the Giro d’Italia renewed for two seasons with EOLO-KOMETA, finished his time trial in 44’50” ahead of Barnabas Peak by 17”. In 5th place, with a delay of 2’33”, was our Marton Dina.
Erik Fetter: “Overjoyed to have won, and to have defended last year’s title. At the same time I am not so happy with my performance, I didn’t have my best legs so I really suffered a lot: luckily, it was enough to win but now I will be even hungrier when I get on a time trial bike again, and that will be for the European championships. Now I’m thinking about Friday when we have the inline race: Marton and I will give everything.”
