The 2021 season is already underway and the EOLO-KOMETA Cycling Team’s kit includes a new travel companion. FRITZ! joins this season as an official sponsor of the team in its first project into the ProTeam category. FRITZ! is the leading brand for home networking in Germany. AVM, the company behind the brand, offers an extensive selection of products for high-speed broadband connectivity and intelligent home networking.

“FRITZ! is the latest addition to our project and has given a definite boost to its creation. It is a real honour for us to be able to count on their support and we are especially proud that they have chosen the EOLO-KOMETA Cycling Team as their partner in the world of cycling. EOLO, Retelit, Elmec and now FRITZ! make us the project with the most important support in the new technologies sector. It is a field where innovation, continuous improvement and evolution are fundamental. And this is something in which we as a team also want to distinguish ourselves,” explains general manager Fran Contador with regard to this sponsorship.

“We’re happy to be on board as a new partner and hope the athletes will be as fast and reliable as our Wi-Fi routers. We wish the team best of luck for this season!” says Gianni Garrita, country manager of AVM Italy.

With the FRITZ! product range, AVM is a leading manufacturer of broadband devices for DSL, cable, LTE (4G) and fiber optics in Germany and Europe. Their Smart Home products, based on Wi-Fi, DECT and powerline standards, ensure an intelligent and secure home network. AVM was founded in Berlin in the mid-1980s and since the start has established itself as one of the strongest companies in their area. In 2020, it had almost 840 employees and an annual turnover of around EUR 580 million.
