EOLO Kometa is competing in the Vuelta a Burgos from Tuesday. A competition in which they have always achieved good results and where Lorenzo Fortunato, after his injuries and already completely recovered, faces the challenge to shine especially in the mountain days.

An ideal scenario for him and for the rest of the team, where a balanced squad that will have opportunities in the breakaways, in sprint finishes and also in the tough climbs on a route that is more accessible than in previous editions.

Thus, the race will have the traditional finish at the Castillo de Burgos, it will ride and climb Picón Blanco, although on this occasion it will not be the finish line, it will compete in a hard sprint in Clunia and it will be decided in the mythical ascent to Lagunas de Neila. A varied, complete and attractive route to dream of raising our arms.

Jesús Hernández: “Vuelta a Burgos has always been good for us, although it is one of the highest level races we compete in. That background gives us confidence, the hard sprints are ideal for Fedeli, the opportunity of pure sprint will be for David Martín and also the two mountainous days for Lorenzo Fortunato. After his crashes and withdraw in Adriatica, he is totally recovered and although he needs some race rhythm, he will surely give us presence. We want him to recover little by little in the second part of the season, although he will surely have a chance to shine”.
