Stage 3: Oristano – Cagliari (180,9 km)
These roads that go up and down chasing each other in the middle of nowhere in the Sardinian hinterland. This wind that blows, that sometimes pushes you and sometimes brakes you, that annoys. “I’m happy – Pacioni said – because I arrived very well at the sprint and in the last meters I was able to recover many positions. It was not easy, because to keep the wheel of the strongest I practically had to make three or four other sprints on a Really, it was a very nervous sprint”.
