The Palma Arena in Palma de Mallorca, a temple of national track cycling, hosted this weekend the Spanish Championships of Omnium and Track for the elite, U23, junior and cadet categories within the framework of the Gran Premi Toni Cerdá.

On Saturday, in the Omnium, Terrasa imposed his power in the Elimination race to push for a lead that he would shore up with his second place in Scrach and Tempo. On Sunday, teaming up with Fran Tejero, he would clinch the national Madison title in his category.

Miguel Ángel Molina and Samuel de Pablo from Madrid also came to the island to take part in both competitions.

In the Omnium Molina finished tenth, while De Pablo finished ninth, with his fifth place in Tempo as his best performance. In the Madison De Pablo teamed up with Mario Anguela to finish fourth, eight points away from bronze.
