Matteo Moschetti confirmed the jump of quality that seems to be leading at this beginning of the year with his second win of the week, bidding farewell to the Tour of Antalya, where the other great star of Polartec-Kometa has been Awet Habtom, who has finished his first race of the year with a third place on the final podium.

Polartec-Kometa took the start today with only four riders, as Issac Canton, sick, could not starts, joining the previous casualties of Wilson Peña and Michele Gazzoli. But the lack of troops did not prevent the team from doing a great performance, defending on the one hand the podium of Habtom, which in the queen stage was second, just behind the final winner, the much older Ovechkin, and achieving a new stage victory.

Awet Habtom has shown in Turkey the success of his signing, exhibiting great qualities as a climber that should confirm in future commitments. As for Matteo Moschetti, today he ratified what he already demonstrated with his victory over Jakub Mareczko in the first stage, fighting again against the men of the Willier, who worked for Pozzato, and against the rest of the fast men on the Tour of Antalya.

Mosquetti returned to launch the sprint from afar to avoid surprises and imposed on all his rivals, which also earned him the Points classification. Habtom, on the other hand, finished also in the second place of the Mountain classification and won the Youth classification.

With this baggage, the Polartec-Kometa will travel next week to Greece, where its next challenge, the Tour de Rhodes, awaits its riders, in which the two fast men of the team, Mosquetti and Gazzoli, will start again in search of new opportunities
