IX Memorial Víctor Cabedo / Weekend 1
18th september: X Trofeo Castillo de Onda
19:  XXXIII Trofeo Entrada de Toros y Caballos de Segorbe

The Valencian Pablo García has left the first weekend of competition of the Víctor Cabedo Memorial Trophy as the best placed in the provisional overall of this competition by the junior structure of the Contador Foundation. The rider from Ayora is fourth, three seconds behind Jan Castellón, winner this Sunday of the second race and relief in the leadership of Rubén Sánchez, who won on Saturday in Onda.

García was one of the members of the numerous breakaway that was formed in the first kilometres of the always competitive Trofeo Entrada de Toros y Caballos, a breakaway in which his teammate Joel García was also present and which was later joined by Marc Terrasa, with five other riders, to form a group of 21 units. This large group was again selected among several offensives, but García resisted to arrive with the vanguard and sign an interesting sixth place. The peloton, led by the first leader, arrived at 1’45”.

On Saturday, with an uphill finish, Marc Terrasa finished fifth and Antonio González tenth.
