Stage 4: Balmaseda – Balmaseda (98,3 km)
Pablo Lospitao (Electromercantil-Vino) won the last stage of an edition whose overall went to Joan Garamundi (Saxun) and in which Sergio Calvo finally finished sixth. The Galician rider suffered in the first passage through Beci, but managed to recover in the second, where he lost again while the race was selected and a small group was highlighted in the lead.
A final stage in which Iker Díaz was especially active, being part of a breakaway of eleven riders that had up to two minutes of advantage over the peloton.
