Weight (kg) 65

Biography

Last arrival at EOLO-KOMETA, called in during the current season to continue on the path of strengthening the team. Alessandro had started the 2022 season with Gazprom, and was therefore left without a contract: hence the decision to sign him immediately with a two-year contract.  Fedeli started cycling with the jersey of Ausonia CSI Pescantina, and then moved as an Under 23 first to Colpack and then to Trevigiani: in this category he won two stages at the Giro della Valle d’Aosta, a GP Liberazione and an Edil C. He turned pro in 2019 with Delko and found success in his first pro race by winning the first stage of the Tour du Rwanda. In 2020 he wins the final stage of the Tour du Limousin, and in 2022 his move to Russian Gazprom is announced. “To say that I am delighted,” he said at the time of signing, “is reductive, I wanted with all my strength to end this very bad period and return to racing, and to have arrived at EOLO-KOMETA is something beyond all expectations. I had already given up on this season and instead, here I am: I want to fit in with this team right away, considering that I will be here next year as well.” His favorite dish is fritto misto and he loves Thailand, the win he carries in his heart is the stage at the Tour du Limousin, and when he’s not on the bike he does DIY. As a boy he did not root for any particular rider but his favorites were Sagan and Contador in the Tinkoff jersey. He started cycling as a child, for fun, in his grandparents’ bar: and although his parents were not at all into cycling, that game became a passion.
