David Martín

Settled in the professional category, in 2023 David went one step further. Showing his speed but also his ability to place in difficult sprints, he made it into the top-5 of the Belgium Tour or Istrian Trophy. His explosiveness in the final metres becomes the best weapon to continue learning against the best sprinters in the world. The Andalusian began his cycling career in MTB, a speciality in which he won the final overall of the Spanish Open in the cadet category, as well as second place at national level. From 2019 he focused on road cycling with the Extremadura team. Two seasons later, he joined the under-23 team of the Contador Foundation. His most important victory was the Spanish Cup in Ontur. To make him happy, serve him a plate of pasta seasoned with oil, he loves going to the beach and spending his days fishing. His favourite city is Seville.
