Davide Bais

The Trentino, in his third season with Eolo-Kometa, showed off his generosity and spirit of sacrifice: always on the attack, always supporting his teammates, he was able to win the polka-dot jersey at the Tour du Limousin. Davide has shared a passion for cycling since, as children, he and his brother Mattia (who from this year will join him on the team) saw a race pass by their home. “We fell in love with cycling right away,” he says. Davide comes from Cycling Team Friuli, a continental team with which he had the opportunity to make two seasons on a more European calendar. At the 2021 Giro d’Italia U23 he was one of the most active riders in the early days; last year at Tirreno-Adriatico he wore the green jersey for three days. He stands out for his good climbing skills and also for his attacking nature. And it is in the mountains that Davide finds peace and happiness; in fact, he is a great lover of trekking.
