Davide Bais

An unforgettable 2023, that of Davide Bais: his victory in the stage of the Giro d’Italia with arrival in Campo Imperatore came to crown a lifelong dream pursued and to certify continued growth throughout his years with us. The rider from Trentino is beginning his fourth year with this team, and he has always showcased his generosity and spirit of sacrifice. Davide has shared a passion for cycling since, as children, he and his brother Mattia (who has been joining him on the team since last year) watched a race pass by their home. “We fell in love with cycling right away,” he says. Davide comes from Cycling Team Friuli, a continental team with which he had the opportunity to make two seasons on a more European calendar. At the 2021 Giro d’Italia U23 he was one of the most active riders in the early days, at the 2022 and 2023 Tirreno-Adriatico he wore the green jersey for several stages, and at last year’s Giro d’Italia in addition to his victory he showed off by wearing the blue jersey of mountain leader for six stages. He stands out for his good climbing skills and also for his attacking nature. And it is in the mountains that Davide finds peace and happiness; in fact, he is a great lover of trekking. He carries in his heart the victory at the I Comitati del Valdarno Trophy, he loves pizza and being with his friends. His favorite place? Nogaredo, his home…
