Diego Pablo Sevilla
Pro team

At the age of six, his cousin Carlos took him on a bike ride around his village, and from that moment Diego started riding with the Agrupación Ciclista de San Martín de la Vega, his first club. His first races were MTB and at the age of 13, then he tried the road with U.C. San Sebastián de los Reyes. Diego has been with the Alberto Contador Foundation since his first year and in 2018 he switched to the pros with his first continental project. He was Spanish cyclocross champion in 2012 and in 2014 he competed in the World Cyclocross Championships (Hoogerheide) and the World Road Championships (Ponferrada). He is a rider who performs well on mid-mountain courses, which gives him a big advantage due to his excellent speed. In 2017, he attended a training camp for the Belgian Quick Step team. He is the middle child of three brothers (Felipe and Carlos). He completed his studies as a Higher Technician of Physical and Sports Animation (TAFAD) and in the previous three seasons as a professional he distinguished himself as one of the most combative cyclists in the structure. His most important victory, pending his first success among the pros, is the title of Spanish cyclocross champion. He loves to eat Cocido Madrileño (typical dish of Madrid) and his hobby is…cycling. The place of the heart is Ares, a small town in Galicia where his family has a house.
