Vincenzo Albanese
Pro team

Originally from Campania, Vincenzo Albanese lives in Tuscany, near Florence. In his sixth season as a pro, he boasts a fifth-place finish at the 2017 Under-23 World Championships and a victory at the Trofeo Matteotti in the Italian national team jersey. In 2021 Vincenzo exploded in the Eolo-Kometa jersey: two days in the green jersey at Tirreno-Adriatico, two in the blue jersey at Giro d’Italia, many victories only touched: 2022 2022, was the year of his first pro victory, at the Tour du Limousin, his 11th place at Milan-Sanremo (first of the Italians), his many placings in all the big races he participated in. His love for cycling has grown with the passing of the years: “My passion was born in Tuscany where my friends of the elementary school have insisted to make me try this sport and the most beautiful memories are tied to when I raced in the minor categories, where everything was a game and was done for fun, without any kind of stress. When I was in the U23 category I realized that what was fun could also become a job. The people who have supported me the most are definitely my parents, and this sport has taught me to never give up and that in life no one ever gives you anything,” he said. He is passionate about photography and dirt bikes. His favorite dish is seafood scialatielli.
