The Alberto Contador Foundation initiates a new era with Look bikes

The fourth season of Alberto Contador Foundation Teams will be marked by a profound renewal of their technical partners, among which highlights the arrival of the French brand Look, in addition to continuing to provide pedals, has signed a deal to be the new Bicycle brand of Junior and Under- 23 teams.

Look, together with the presence in the jerseys as main sponsors RH + / POLARTEC, is the great technical and sponsorship novelty of Alberto Contador Foundation for the 2016 and successive seasons, given the trust that placed Look owners on Alberto Contador project, which continues to consolidate and grow each year.

Fran Contador, manager of RH + / POLARTEC teams as well as Pinto’s Cycling School, noted that the agreement with Look has been reached “after studying several offers we had on the table. Look offered us something that is very important to us, the technical quality of its products, led by a bicycle stand among the most aerodynamic and light of the pack, in addition to aesthetically stunning. But more importantly still is that they believe in us, believe in the Alberto Contador Foundation as future commitment to develop their products while our teams continue to grow year by year”.

Look will equip the RH + / POLARTEC U23 team with the 695 ZR model, while juniors will use the 675 Light frame. Both teams also will have the model 796 Monoblade of time trial bikes. In addition, Look will remain the supplier of pedals and also will provide stems, seat posts and handlebars. The new Alberto Contador Fundation bikes will have SRAM groups, cranks and oval chainrings Qrings by Rotor, Vision wheels from FSA group, saddles and handlebar tapes by Prologo, and bottle cages by Tacx.
