II Challenge Volta o Barbanza
Stage 2: Ribeira – Ribeira (89,6 km).
Gerard Cano finished third overall this Sunday in the Volta O Barbanza in a second and final stage in which Sergio Romeo (MMR) took the partial victory and climbed to the first position in the classification.
A day in which the riders led by Isaac Cantón once again put in a great group performance that was endorsed by the victory in the overall team classification of the Galician race. All seven of the blue team finished in the top-16.
Manu Sanroma was one of the four escapees who led an offensive movement that reached a margin of two minutes over the peloton. That quartet would grow by two units, Balazs Pollner among them.
