A lot of effort, in a day characterized by cold and rain. A lot of hard work in the stage that gave the partial success to Pinot and the overall one to Bardet. A lot of hard work to be part of the breakaway of the day: Davide Bais managed to do it, showing to have a growing condition for the races to come, even if it was not possible for him to stick to the best even in the final kilometers.
Davide Bais: “Let’s say that it was a very hard stage, with the cold and the rain. After two days in which I tried without succeeding, today I entered in the breakaway of the day in which there were many strong riders. Of course, I’m sorry I couldn’t stay with the best riders until the end…”.
