IMG_7928La Fundación Alberto Contador ha vivido un intenso fin semana con victorias tanto de los Sub 23 como de los Juniors, los primeros en la Vuelta a Sevilla y los más pequeños en la Vuelta a Valladolid. Con estos triunfos el Specialized de Rafa Díaz Justo suma ya seis victorias en su primera temporada en la categoría, mientras el Flex de Félix García Casas, ya en su segundo año, acumula nada menos que 24 triunfos en lo que va de campaña.

Juan Antonio ‘Chupe’ López Cózar fue el gran protagonista en la Vuelta a Sevilla, una challenge dividida en dos etapas en las que el granadino se impuso al sprint en la primera etapa, en la localidad de Dos Hermanas, tras una carrera muy competida en la que al final llegó un grupo de 19 corredores, donde también viajaban otros dos corredores del Specialized, David Casillas y David de Pablos. Hoy, en la segunda y definitiva etapa, con salida y llegada en Triana, el Specialized-Fundación Alberto Contador apostó por dejar a otros el control de la carrera, a la espera de los últimos 30 kilómetros, en los que el equipo tomó el control para tratar de conseguir una nueva llegada al sprint y colocar ahí a López Cózar, ya que con un buen puesto se aseguraba la general.
