La Mafia se sienta a la mesa’ acogerá el III Campus
Por tercera temporada consecutiva, la Fundación Alberto Contador realizará un Campus de Selección de Ciclistas para elegir a los nuevos corredores que se integrarán en el equipo junior la próxima temporada.
La cadena de restaurantes italianos ‘La Mafia se sienta a la mesa’ será el patrocinador oficial de este ‘training camp’, tal como ya lo fue en 2014, por lo que volverá a celebrarse en Zaragoza los días 18, 19 y 20 del próximo mes de septiembre.
El equipo junior Flex-Fundación Alberto Contador se nutre exclusivamente de los corredores seleccionados durante esta convocatoria, como ya sucedió en la temporada 2013, cuando pasaron ocho ciclistas al equipo, y volvió a suceder el año pasado con otros ocho ciclistas que se integraron en la plantilla del Flex. Los mejores de ellos, tras dos temporadas en la escuadra junior, pasarán al equipo Specialized- sub23, última escala antes de llegar a profesionales.
Las inscripciones para este III Campus de Selección se podrán realizar en la página web del equipo, http://junior.fundacioncontadorteam.com , a partir de la publicación de esta nota de prensa y hasta el próximo día 4 de septiembre. Entre todos los inscritos, que en las dos primeras ediciones superaron el centenar de corredores, se realizará la selección definitiva de 40 participantes entre los que destaquen por su currículum deportivo, rendimiento escolar y valores humanos, que tendrán un peso fundamental a la hora de elegir a los futuros corredores del equipo Flex junior de la Fundación Alberto Contador.
