En la Vuelta a Castellón, Óscar Linares fue el mejor joven

Los corredores sub 23 del Specialized-Fundación Contador, terminaron hoy la tercera y última etapa de la Vuelta a Castellón, una ronda de un gran nivel competitivo en la que Óscar Linares logró el maillot de mejor joven.

El cántabro, que está cubriendo con sobresaliente su primera temporada en la categoría, consolidó su clasificación al batir hoy en la subida final a Vistabella al anterior líder y terminar decimoquinto de la etapa. Antes que él, el equipo cumplió con el trabajo de estar en las escapadas gracias a Elías Ortiz y Juan Camacho, que estuvieron en sendas intentonas. La victoria del día fue para Julen Amezqueta mientras la general final se la adjudicó Arnau Soler.

Oscar Linares was the best young in Castellón

Under 23 riders from Specialized-Alberto Contador Foundation today completed the third and final stage of the Tour of Castellón, a race of a major competitive level in which Oscar Linares won the best young rider jersey.

The Cantabrian, who is doing an outstanding first season in this category, consolidated its ranking by beating today on the final climb to Vistabella the previous leader and finished fifteenth at the stage.
